Medidata, Sdn. Bhd.
Medidata Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on July 12, 1977 and started its business by being the tendering agent marketing various pharmaceutical and medical disposable products to public and private hospitals as well as health centres.
In 1984, as a result of Information Technology revolution, Medidata diversified its business into the IT industry.
In 90’s, Medidata moved for a very bold decision to revamp its healthcare business by setting up Medical Disposable Group to handle the medical disposable business while the existing Pharmaceutical Group focuses more towards the controlled and licensed drugs.
In 2003, Medidata step forward by establishing a medical disposable products manufacturing plant. The manufacturing process is certified with ISO9001:2001 and ISO13485:2003 (self-declared ‘CE’ marking) standards.
Between then and now, Medidata has achieved numerous successes and at the same time has also stand through the test of time and lots of hardships. The events experienced have made the company stronger.
Today the Malaysian Ministry of Finance has classified Medidata as manufacturer. Medidata has also obtained manufacturing license from Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA)
